Evolving from their Brooklyn roots (it all started in D.S.’s Bushwick apartment…), today D.S. & Durga’s luxury line is lauded by taste makers — or should we say, scent makers — and fragrance-ophiles around the world. Bottling a universe within each perfume and candle, each scent has a story, and the brand's Grapefruit Generation perfume is a love letter to the sixties. With top, opening notes of pomelo skin, elm leaf and silver that lead to a heart of tuberose and hawthorn flower before finishing with notes of grapefruit and animalic musk that linger on skin long after it's spritzed, this scent will garner a host of compliments and enquiries as to ""what perfume are you wearing?""…

DS&Durga niche perfume house was founded in 2007 in NYC. D.S.(David Seth Moltz), a musician, and Durga (Kavi Moltz), an architect, collect herb and floral essences from all over the world and hand craft them into perfumes. In 2024, the brand was sold to Manzanita Capital.

Designer DS&Durga has 122 perfumes in our fragrance base. The earliest edition was created in 2000 and the newest is from 2026. DS&Durga fragrances were made in collaboration with perfumers David Seth Moltz, Kavi Moltz and Rayda Vega.

Yes. Our 2 ml, 5 ml and 8 ml samples are decanted from genuine, commercially sourced fragrance bottles. Twistly Perfumes does not imitate, recreate or intentionally dilute the original fragrance liquid.

What does “decanted” mean?

Decanting means transferring a smaller amount of fragrance from the original bottle into a Twistly sample atomizer. This allows you to experience the fragrance before committing to a full bottle.

Can I return a fragrance if it's not for me?

Scent is personal, and what smells amazing on someone else might not be your thing — that's completely normal. Because fragrances are a personal care product, we can only accept returns on items that are unopened and in their original packaging.

That's exactly why we offer 2ml sizes: they let you try a scent properly, on your own skin, over a few days, before committing to a larger bottle. If you're unsure, we always recommend starting there.
