Even though it is vital to the olfactory shock this perfume generates, Patchouli is not easy to detect in this formula. The smoky, leathery character of birch takes over in the first few seconds, making this signature absolutely unique and difficult to situate. Le Labo was founded by Fabrice Penot and Edouard Roschi in 2006. They debuted with 10 fragrances. The number in the fragrance name indicates the number of notes in its composition and the name of material (Vetiver, Jasmin, Labdanum) refers to the most prominent note in it.

Designer Le Labo has 65 perfumes in our fragrance base. The earliest edition was created in 2006 and the newest is from 2026. Le Labo fragrances were made in collaboration with perfumers Michel Almairac, Nathalie Lorson, Daphné Bugey, Frank Voelkl, Francoise Caron, Barnabe Fillion, Maurice Roucel, Vincent Schaller, Annick Menardo, Mark Buxton, Yann Vasnier and Alberto Morillas.

Yes. Our 2 ml, 5 ml and 8 ml samples are decanted from genuine, commercially sourced fragrance bottles. Twistly Perfumes does not imitate, recreate or intentionally dilute the original fragrance liquid.

What does “decanted” mean?

Decanting means transferring a smaller amount of fragrance from the original bottle into a Twistly sample atomizer. This allows you to experience the fragrance before committing to a full bottle.
