Description

Telea is the name of a very distant and magical star shrouded in mystery. A star, according to legend, of prodigious powers. This star gives its name to Paolo's sailboat. The floating dream of a whole lifetime, made of precious and fragrant woods, polished brass, rare ropes and highly technological black sails, she was built to travel afar. Telea was designed to fulfill the desire to sail, ready to face any type of sea or ocean, but above all as a secret refuge, a place to recharge ones batteries and find inspiration for new creations and new challenges, a place to breathe. Breath is, after all, the brother of perfume and wonder takes shape by spreading its sails towards infinity. Telea is not just an object, she has her own soul that is symbiotic with the spirit of her commander and her crew. “The sea is our home ... the sea is our motherland ...” was the philosophy their father Evelino shared with Paolo and Tiziana as they were growing up, sailing with him on the wings of fantasy, aboard his beautiful wooden boat. From this deep passion, rooted in their hearts and cultivated since childhood, the Terenzi siblings have never stopped loving the sea, its immense depths, infinite spaces, its starry skies and its precious gifts, such as rare Ambergris. The creation opens with a roar of happiness and joy, the sound of sparkling life encapsulated in the effervescence of citrus fruits like Calabrian Bergamot and Sicilian Oranges emphasized by the intoxicating sweetness of Hawthorn from Mikonos, the mellowness of Bulgarian Rose and the tenderness of Pear from Romagna. This head, full of happiness, plunges like summer into a blue sea, a beating heart of colour and sound. The hypnotic and sensual power of magical flowers such as Jasmine from the Locride, Peruvian Heliotrope and YlangYlang from the Philippines, embrace precious essences and aphrodisiacs. Red Patchouli and Ambergris, harvested beneath Mediterranean waves, emerge above all. Like a solid vessel built of sturdy planks to support the force of the sea, this creation also has a robust and vigorous base. exotic Tahitian Vetiver is mixed with the disruptive notes of Musk and supported by the strength of fragrant woods such as Mahogany, Tuscan Oak, Cambodian Agarwood and Poison Oak from Romagna. Telea is a fragrance of enchanted wonder, inspired by the boundless freedom that only the sea can give, for those who never stop dreaming and living in the wake of a wave that knows no borders. Tiziana Terenzi is a family owned Italian niche brand of fragrances, primarily scented candles and then perfumes. It was established as Cereria Terenzi in 1968 in Cattolica, in a space of 16 square meters, upon the enthusiasm of its founder, Evelino Terenzi, who, through innovation, continued a family tradition: his father, Guglielmo, participated in the foundation of a waxworks that produced devotional and Paschal candles for churches. With the help of his wife, Luigia Mancini, he set up an artisan laboratory in a small room of the big family home; the first brick in what would become a tale of over 40 years, passed down to the current day, generation by generation.

Evelino Terenzi’s children, Tiziana and Paolo are now the owners of the brand. Tiziana Terenzi is the designer, while Paolo Terenzi is the nose and the president of company.

Designer Tiziana Terenzi has 128 perfumes in our fragrance base. The earliest edition was created in 2012 and the newest is from 2026. Tiziana Terenzi fragrances were made in collaboration with perfumers Paolo Terenzi and Tiziana Terenzi.

What does “decanted” mean?

Decanting means transferring a smaller amount of fragrance from the original bottle into a Twistly sample atomizer. This allows you to experience the fragrance before committing to a full bottle.
